Besiktas are apparently interested in signing the 50-year-old Salernitana boss in the upcoming January Transfer Window

Turkish giants Besiktas, one of the three most popular Turkish clubs, parted ways with their recent coach, Riza Calimbay, following a 3-1 defeat to Alanyaspor.

A surprising name came to the black-and-white management's agenda as they started searching for Calimbay's successor abroad.

According to beIN Sports, their top target is Salernitana's head coach, once excellent striker of Juventus, AC Milan and Italy, Phillipo Pippo Inzaghi.

The 50-year-old Italian gaffer took over the team from Southern Italy on October 10 and has recorded two victories, three draws, and five losses in ten official matches so far.
