His second of the afternoon is still a hot topic in the Kenyan football circle, given how well he struck it.

The 24-year-old picked a ball almost at the half-pitch line, spotted Sofapaka goalkeeper Victor Kamungo off his line before unleashing a long-range left-foot shot.

So good was the long shot that fans from the opposing side applauded his effort, with fans from different teams also taking to their social media accounts to praise him.

Speaking after the match, the former Benchem United forward revealed that the goal was not by fluke.

That is one of my weapons. I can shoot from any angle and even with my left foot, and so when I saw the opportunity, I took it," said Adukwa.

Adukwa, who can play as a striker and as a winger as he did against Bidco United and Sofapaka respectively, also expressed his delight at the win in what he considers a tough league.

“I am very happy with the win. Scoring two goals is not easy. We worked for it and won as a team. I want to thank my coaches, teammates, and the entire technical staff for helping me achieve this.

The league is very competitive. Before I came here, I watched some YouTube videos, especially for my team, and when I arrived, I experienced it. However, my teammates welcomed me well here and told me what to do and not do,” he added.

Meanwhile, Adukwaw revealed his targets in the season where Gor will be seeking to reclaim the title they lost to Kenya Police FC.

“My target at the end of the season is to help the team win the league and compete with the best in Africa,he added.
