The newly signed agreement is worth Ksh30 million, representing a significant increase from the initial Ksh5 million deal that the two parties entered into midway through the recently concluded 2025/26 campaign.

The extension effectively sees the Kenyan football giants secure an additional Ksh30 million in sponsorship revenue, underlining growing corporate confidence in the club's brand and commercial appeal.

Gor Mahia and Plascon first partnered on December 15, 2025, when the paint manufacturing company signed a short-term sponsorship package valued at Ksh5 million that was set to run until the end of the season.

Following a successful collaboration, both parties have now committed to a longer-term relationship.

The latest development was confirmed by Gor Mahia patron Eliud Owalo through a statement posted on his Facebook page after witnessing the signing ceremony.

“This morning, at the Mövenpick Hotel in Westlands, Nairobi, I witnessed the signing of a new three-year Ksh30 million sponsorship deal between Gor Mahia FC and Kansai Plascon Kenya Ltd.

“The Plascon team was led by Managing Director Kota Enami, while the Gor Mahia management was led by Chairman Ambrose Rachier.

“On behalf of the entire Gor Mahia fraternity, I thank Plascon for the sponsorship and appeal to more corporate sponsors to come on board ahead of the CAF Champions League,” Owalo stated.

Gor Mahia also confirmed the sponsorship renewal and revealed that the company had handed them a Ksh1 million bonus for clinching the 2025/26 league title.

"We ink a Ksh30 million three-year deal with Plascon, the leading paint company, also rewarded us with Ksh1 million bonus for winning the SportPesa League title," read the statement.

The renewed partnership comes at a crucial time for K'Ogalo as they prepare to return to continental football.

Having missed out on CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup participation last season, the record Kenyan champions are now gearing up for another shot at Africa's premier club competition.

Beyond strengthening the club's financial position, the sponsorship is expected to provide Gor Mahia with additional resources as they seek to compete effectively both domestically and on the continental stage.
