FKF Premier League champions Gor Mahia have strengthened their attacking options after completing the signing of striker Hansel Ochieng from APS Bomet.
The record league champions confirmed the acquisition in a statement, with Ochieng becoming the club's sixth signing of the current transfer window as K'Ogalo continue to reshape their squad ahead of the new season.
The move comes after the striker announced himself on the biggest stage by scoring a memorable brace against Gor Mahia during APS Bomet's stunning 4-1 victory at Nyayo National Stadium in November last year.
His performance immediately fueled speculation linking him with a move to the Kenyan champions.
Ochieng leaves APS Bomet after finishing as the club's second best scorer with six league goals during the 2025-2026 campaign, playing a key role in helping the side avoid relegation.
Under head coach Sammy 'Pamzo' Omollo, APS Bomet recovered from a difficult start to secure a 10th place finish and retain their FKF Premier League status.

The club has since bid farewell to the striker, thanking him for his contribution and wishing him success in the next chapter of his career.
At Gor Mahia, Ochieng will face stiff competition for a starting place.
He joins a strike force that includes newly signed Paul Okoth, who netted 19 league goals for Ulinzi Stars last season, alongside:Ebenezer Assifuah, Ebenezer Adu Kwaw, and Felix Oluoch, who is returning from a lengthy injury layoff.
With Gor set to compete in the FKF Premier League, the domestic cup and the CAF Champions League, Ochieng is expected to have ample opportunities to fight for a regular place in the squad as the club targets success on multiple fronts.
