The 29-year-old was looking to lay his hands on his second cup of that kind, having led his side to success in 2024

Tera, 29, was on the field for 59 minutes, as Ararat settled for a barren draw with Noah FC, ending up 1-0 losers on aggregate, of the two-legged semifinal tie.
Ararat, who were looking to win their second Armenian cup in three years, could not find their way past fellow top-tier side Noah in their backyard at Abovyan City Stadium, a result that ended their chase for a cup double this season.

Noah, placed fifth in the Premier League, instead advanced to their second consecutive cup final, thanks to their 1-0 win in the reverse tie on Saturday, 16 April.
Then, Noah stunned Ararat at home, courtesy of a 25th minute goal by Bosnian forward Nardin Mulahusejnovic.
It is that strike that will sting Tera and his teammates, as for a second season running, Noah have found a way to stand in the way of Ararat and the Cup.
Last season, Noah defeated Ararat 3-1 in the cup final, to go along with their league title.
Tera, who did not play in the aforementioned first leg, was on Wednesday recalled into Ararat’s starting eleven, having come on at halftime during a 4-0 league win against Ararat Yerevan.
He was part of a triple substitution with a minute left to the hour-mark, paving way for Ghanaian forward Paul Ayongo, who could not affect the nature of the game.
Despite missing out on a chance to defend the title he won in 2024, Tera, who last month renewed his contract at Ararat, is still on course to lift his first league championship this season.
Ararat, with three games left to the end of the season, are three points clear at the top of the Premier League, for what will be the club’s first league title since the 2019-2020 season.
