Hey, Leo, you played with my dad. Feel old yet?

Following the warm-up game between Argentina and Iceland, Messi had an interesting encounter with the son of his former Barcelona teammate, Eidur Gudjohnsen
Seven friendly games since last October and as many wins. Truth be told, the rivals weren't high-profile (Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Angola, Mauritania, Zambia, Honduras, and Iceland), but still, Argentina seem ready for the World Cup.
After all, a 21-1 goal difference is hard to achieve against any side, let alone national teams from all around the globe.
Yesterday's duel against Iceland was a dress rehearsal game for Lionel Scaloni's men ahead of the World Cup group stage, where they'll face Algeria, Austria, and Jordan, and everything went according to plan.
The Argentinians brushed Iceland aside 3-0, while Lionel Messi remained fresh, spending only 20 minutes on the pitch. Yet even this limited playing time was enough for Leo to find the net from the spot and hit the goal-scoring form at just the right moment before the World Cup gets underway.
The match itself was just another day in the office for Messi, but what followed wasn't, as he was left in disbelief immediately after the game, while still on the pitch.
Daniel Tristan Gudjohnsen, one of Iceland internationals and the son of former Leo's Barcelona teammate, Eidur, approached the Argentina captain and stunned him by revealing who he actually was.

"He said to me, "do you remember who I am?" I was surprised, he told me he was Gudjohnsen's son. I don't remember, honestly, he was little."
"I remember having run into him, seeing him with his father at some training session, but I didn't remember," Messi told the media in the post-match press conference, via Marca.
Now, the 38-year-old legend may have fallen victim to a well-known "Feel old yet?" joke, but despite his age, his final word will come on the pitch. Back there, Leo still seems ready to deliver.
