After three and a half years with Atalanta, the Nigerian forward has officially joined Atletico Madrid
The transfer saga that started during the previous June Transfer Window is finally over - Ademola Lookman is no longer an Atalanta player.
Even though Fenerbahce offered a €3-million higher salary, the Nigerian still opted for Atletico Madrid, where he'll earn €6 million per season, while Los Colchoneros will pay €35 million to La Dea (plus €5 million worth of bonuses).

Hence, a significant chapter in both Lookman's career and Atalanta's history comes to an end. The 28-year-old forward has been the Bergamo side's best player for some time and was involved in some of the club's greatest achievements.
La Dea's fans will forever remember the exceptional UEFA Europa League campaign from two years ago and the grand final in which the Italian team dismantled Bayer Leverkusen 3-0, while Lookman bagged a hat-trick, single-handedly dealing Xabi Alonso's crew its maiden defeat of the season.
In his three-and-a-half-year spell in Bergamo, the Super Eagle made 137 appearances, scored 55 goals, and provided 27 assists.
Now, it's time for a new challenge, but Ademola's spirit and especially those three goals - perhaps the most crucial in the club's history - will forever remain living inside the walls of Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia.
