Fulham's Nigerian revealed he still enjoys playing five-aside football with his friends, though he has to be fully in disguise, while no one must know his real identity

World-class football players earn a lot of money, which is an inexhaustible source of motivation. However, at the same time, one cannot neglect the fact that the vast majority of these guys - there are always exceptions - really love the game. If you don't believe it, just look at Alex Iwobi's example.

Speaking on the Fulham Fix podcast, the Nigerian revealed that he occasionally uses his free time to - play football?! Only the different kind. Unlike the professional one with pressure and tension, he tends to play five-aside football with his friends as a form of relaxation.

"Even in seasons like now, I'll probably go and play (five-aside football) with my friends just to keep myself enjoying football because obviously football can be a bit stressful, you don't win every game, you don't play well every time. But when I play with my friends, it's like I go and express myself. That is what I do with my friends. So even this season, there's been a few times I've done it," said the midfielder via Soccernet.ng.

However, there's one slight problem - he has to hide who he is! So, he devised several solutions to prevent his identity from being revealed.

"I usually use a disguise, it would literally be all black, will be nike kit, you won't even see my skin. I'll wear a snood over my face and a hat to hide my hair. When I get too hot, I take off. I play dressed up as a ninja or a balaclava, you can only see my eyes and hands," disclosed the 28-year-old.

At the same time, no one must know his real identity, so he has several fake names.

"On the pitch, I've been called John, Kevin, or my friends call me 17 sometimes," Iwobi revealed.
