The former Kenyan international was rumored to have been dropped after missing last two league matches
Veteran Gor Mahia goalkeeper Boniface Oluoch has heavily dispelled speculations suggesting that his future at the club was in doubt after conspicuously missing out in their last two league matches against Posta Rangers and Bidco United.
Oluoch was heavily rumored to have cut ties with the record champions after the unusual and unexplained absence but the former Kenyan international says he is here to stay.
Last week, Gor vice-chairperson Francis Wasuna cleared the air on Oluoch's whereabouts saying he had been granted permission to attend to personal matters and would resume training this week.
Wasuna's assurance came a few days after coach Carlos Vaz Pinto in his post-match interviews immediately after thrashing Bidco 3-1 remained tight-lipped on the fate of the current long-serving player at the club.
Oluoch who has won a grand six league titles and a couple of other local accolades says his absence was blown out of proportion and he is looking forward to the resumption of sporting activities to prove his doubters wrong.

Asked why he had taken the break before the presidential decree, Oluoch jokingly cited that his unavailability was an opportunity for the other custodians to get playing time.
"A lot has been said on my future at Gor and I would like to make it clear that I haven't left the club. Those who are pushing for my exit should sit back, relax and wait. When the time is right, I will certainly leave the club. I am doing gym work in readiness for the resumption of sporting activities," he said.
Oluoch also took a swipe at news outlets and individuals who disseminated the rumors for unprofessionalism. The former Tusker man did not mince his words to those suggesting that he may no longer walk to the starting team once the ban on sporting activities is lifted.

"I am always available for interviews. None of those who spread the rumours reached out for my side of the story. The good thing is I have no time to confront them. At the end of the day, they are the ones who stand to lose credibility. Many goalkeepers do mysterious things just to get playing time but as far as I am concerned, I have nothing to prove to anyone, I will keep on doing what I do best " he added.
