Dusan Vlahovic's goal, scored after 12 seconds, brought the Old Lady an essential road triumph against stubborn relegation strugglers Lecce 1-0
What can you do in 12 seconds? Not much, right? Well, Juventus can score the winner against Lecce and grab essential three points in the Champions League race in the Italian top flight - 1-0.
Having recovered from serious hamstring and calf injuries, Dusan Vlahovic returned to the Old Lady's starting lineup after 161 days and netted only 12 seconds into the game, scoring the fastest goal in the club's history and the third fastest ever in Serie A!
🚨 Dusan Vlahovic's goal after 12 seconds is Juventus' FASTEST in Serie A since data has been available (2004/05), beating Vidal's record against Inter on 3/11/2012 (18"); during this period, only Leão and Lozano have scored faster: 6 and 9 seconds. @OptaPaolo pic.twitter.com/ciQXpZJ8se

In fact, believe it or not, the opening six minutes were by far the most exciting part of the entire match at Stadio Via del Mare.
During that period, the visitors broke the deadlock, each custodian made a point-blank save after Vlahovic and Walid Cheddira's efforts, while Juve's Francisco Conceicao hit the bar.
Clearly, the rivals couldn't keep up that pace until the end, but hardly anyone expected they'd run out of steam so quickly.
As if they emptied the tank at the very beginning, Lecce and Juventus did nothing notable until the break.
In the second half, Luciano Spalletti's men went for another goal that would seal their victory, but luck wasn't on their side, as Vlahovic and Pierre Kalulu's goals in the 48th and 59th minutes were both ruled out for offside, leaving the home team alive.
Still, unfortunately for over 40,000 people in the stands in Apulia - and luckily for the Bianconeri's UCL ambitions - Lecce were extremely harmless, putting the visitors' keeper Michele Di Gregorio to test only in the final minutes of the match.

The race for the Champions League in the Serie A isn't over yet, as Napoli, AC Milan, Roma, and Como are all - alongside Juve - in contention for the four remaining places.
Regardless, the Turin side made a huge step towards its goal.
