Both teams are yet to concede a goal in the two rounds of the new campaign, that kicked off last Friday
Kariobangi Sharks is among the Football Kenya Federation Premier League teams that rarely struggle in scoring goals.
Their style of play allows them to create and have the ball at the back of the net.
However, the 2025-2026 season appears to pose a challenge in scoring goals for the William Muluya-coached side, as the club is yet to kiss the net in the two matches played.

Sharks opened the season with a barren draw against Bandari and would record a similar result on Wednesday against four-time Kenyan champions Ulinzi Stars at Lang'ata Complex.
Despite the result, Sharks and Harambee Stars goalkeeper Sebastian Wekesa will be glad to have kept his second clean sheet of the season.
Similarly, Ulinzi custodian Ricks Omondi has two clean sheets in as many matches, having played 90 minutes in the season's opener 1-0 win over Murang'a Seal.
The early exchanges, of the encounter that was brought forward to mid-week as the venue will host a Kenya U20 international on Sunday, saw Ulinzi dominate possession and pin Sharks in their own half.
The Soldiers carved out several half-chances, with Paul Mwasi delivering a dangerous cross in the 18th minute that lacked a finishing touch inside the box.
Sharks, meanwhile, struggled to find rhythm and were pegged back for long spells.
The biggest moment of the game was perhaps a call that did not go in the way of Sharks in the first half.
Ulinzi left back Telena Ochieng brought Stephen Bwire down in the area, with replays showing that the young defender did not have a touch on the ball.
However, the centre referee did not point to the spot despite having a clear view of the incident.
Both teams, were guilty of wasting clear-cut chances in the half. Ulinzi's Paul Okoth and Sharks' Mark Vivian Kesa came close.
After the restart, Harambee Stars winger Boniface Muchiri came close in the 54th minute, but his effort drifted wide.
The visitors grew into the game in the second half, showing signs of resurgence, with Nicholas Odhiambo forcing a save in the 66th minute before Wekesa went down requiring medical attention.
Ulinzi, however, regained control, camping inside Sharks’ half as the match wore on.
Okoth's 72nd-minute header missed the target, while substitute Leonlevitt Otieno squandered a golden opportunity in added time, heading wide when it seemed easier to score.
The result mirrored the history between the two sides, whose encounters have typically been cagey and low-scoring.
In fact, only four of their 18 meetings have produced more than three goals, with the 1-0 scoreline being the most frequent outcome.
