Shumah, who has been instrumental throughout the campaign, missed his second consecutive match due to illness, but his absence did little to halt Dynamos’ relentless march to glory.

In a contest that lived up to its billing, the visitors drew first blood in the 17th minute through Chifundo Mphasi, setting the tone for a fiercely contested encounter.

The hosts responded with intent and resilience, restoring parity just five minutes before the halftime interval courtesy of Kelly Kayembe.

However, the defending champions demonstrated their pedigree when it mattered most.

On the stroke of halftime, Samuel Ayodeji rose above the defense to power home a decisive header from Ismael Ankobo’s well-delivered cross, handing Dynamos a crucial advantage they would not relinquish.

The victory propelled the Kitwe-based outfit to an unassailable 70 points, opening up a commanding 15-point lead over their closest challengers, Red Arrows, with just four matches remaining.

The result mathematically confirmed Dynamos as champions, underlining a season defined by consistency, dominance, and tactical discipline.

For Shumah, the triumph marks a significant milestone in a rapidly rising career.

In his maiden season with the club, the Harambee Stars forward has delivered an outstanding 21 goals, a contribution that has proven pivotal in the club’s pursuit of domestic supremacy.

The title also carries historic significance for Power Dynamos.

The triumph secures their ninth league crown and, notably, their first-ever back-to-back championship success in the club’s storied history.

“Aba Yellow,” Dynamos have been in scintillating form throughout the campaign, registering 21 wins, seven draws, and just two defeats, a remarkable run that underscores their status as the undisputed force in Zambian football this season.

While Shumah has been stealing the show and grabbing headlines, his compatriot Emmanuel Osoro is also a league winner.

Both Osoro and Shumah joined Dynamos before the start of the season.
