Masud on target as Difaa suffers heavy defeat in Morocco

The forward has two goals in four games this season.

Kenyan international Masud Juma bagged his second goal of the season as his side Difaâ Hassani El Jadidi suffered a heavy 4-1 loss against AS FAR Rabat in the Moroccan Botola Pro.

The former Kariobangi Sharks forward has started the season with a bang, netting in the second game of the season as they picked up a 3-1 defeat at the hands of reigning champions Wydad Casablanca.

Difaa suffered a nightmare start to the game as they conceded a penalty inside the opening five minutes which Reda Slim stepped up to take and made no mistake to put AS FAR ahead.

The torrid start to the game was exacerbated as AS FAR doubled their lead in the 11th minute through Guede Gnadou who profited from a goalkeeping howler to tap the ball into the empty net.

Difaa were handed a route back in the game in the 38th minute when they were awarded a penalty following a handball inside the box with Masud stepping up to take the penalty which he expertly dispatched to ensure they went into the break with a 2-1 lead.

AS FAR however had a mirror start to the second half as they regained their two-goal advantage in the 63rd minute when Adam Ennaffati volleyed the ball into the net from outside the box.

Adam Ennaffati sealed his brace in the 70th minute as he guided the ball into the near post to ensure AS FAR picked up an empathic 4-1 win.
