The legendary Portuguese tactician showed up in the press conference carrying a bag, and the journalists wouldn't give up until he revealed what was in it

Jose Mourinho rejoined Benfica to revive the Eagles, and so far, he's been doing a decent job, especially in the Champions League, where the Portuguese side's chances to advance are significantly greater after two consecutive wins over Ajax and Napoli.

Following the 2-0 triumph against the Serie A side last night, Mou appeared in the post-match press conference carrying a bag, and the journalists wouldn't give up until he revealed what was in it.

"I noticed you have a bag. Is it a present to one of the journalists?" asked one of the press representatives.

"The Special One" initially tried to hide the content, responding, "The bag is mine," but the journalist refused to let it go.

A new "What is it?" question followed, and this time, Jose couldn't "dodge the bullet" and avoid answering.

"It's Scott McTominay's shirt. I put him in, I benched Paul Pogba for him at Manchester United. The least he could do was give me his shirt," the strategist revealed with a gentle smile.

The Napoli midfielder indeed debuted with the Red Devils under Mourinho, on May 7, 2017. Since that moment, until he departed from Old Trafford in December 2018, Mou counted on McTominay, who made 31 appearances during his spell at the bench.

Even though he hasn't said it, the Scotsman is undoubtedly aware his career wouldn't have been so successful without the Portuguese gaffer, and the gesture with the jersey perfectly depicts the gratitude he feels.
