The leading gaming firm has extended its partnership with the FKF Cup for a further three years in a deal now valued at Ksh 90 million, up from the previous Ksh 60 million agreement.

This renewal marks a significant step up in Mozzart Bet’s commitment to growing football across the country.

Under the new agreement, Mozzart Bet will inject Ksh 30 million annually, an increase of Ksh 10 million per year from the previous deal that ran between 2023 and 2025.

The improved terms are set to elevate the profile of the 70-year-old competition, Kenya’s oldest inter-club football tournament.

Clubs will feel the impact of the renewed sponsorship directly, with prize money significantly increased across the board.

The ultimate winner of the competition will now take home Ksh 3 million, up from Ksh 2 million, while the runners-up will pocket Ksh 2 million, a Ksh 1 million increase.

Third-placed teams will receive Ksh 1.5 million, up from Ksh 750,000, while fourth-placed teams will now earn Ksh 1 million, up from Ksh 500,000.

In a historic first for the FKF Cup, Mozzart Bet has also introduced cash awards for individual performances. A total of Ksh 8.4 million has been set aside to reward standout players throughout the tournament.

The best goalkeeper, top scorer, best midfielder, and best defender in each match will each receive Ksh 150,000, while the Most Promising Young Talent will walk away with Ksh 100,000.

The tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) will earn Ksh 200,000, adding extra motivation for players to shine on the big stage.

To ensure fans across the country follow every twist and turn of the competition, Mozzart Bet has also allocated Ksh 5 million for broadcasting, enhancing live coverage, and bringing the drama of the Cup closer to supporters nationwide.

The deal will be officially signed and launched on Thursday, 29th January, in a ceremony that will also include the Round of 64 draw at the Glee Hotel along Kiambu Road.

The sponsorship will cover organization, live-streaming, branding, and logistics of the competition.

Gor Mahia remains the most successful club in the tournament's history, with eight titles, followed closely by AFC Leopards with seven.

Since Mozzart Bet came on board in 2023, the cup has produced new champions, with Kakamega Homeboyz (2023), Kenya Police (2024), and Nairobi United (2025) all lifting their first-ever senior-level trophies.

Beyond the financial rewards, the FKF Cup continues to offer a coveted pathway to continental football, with the winner earning the right to represent Kenya in the CAF Confederation Cup.
