The forward has eleven goals against his name

Kariobangi Sharks head coach William Muluya has warned the club’s top scorer Felix Oluoch against resting on his laurels after surpassing the ten goal mark.

Oluoch struck a brace last weekend to aid Sharks maul KCB 2-0 at the Kasarani Annex to shoot to the top of the scorers’ chart with eleven goals.

Muluya who lauded the goal poacher for the goal returns achieved in his maiden season with the club counseled him to keep the good job and seek to join the league of his predecessors Erick Kapaito and Masud Juma.

The two forwards clinched the ‘Golden Boot’ with Sharks, fetes which catapulted them to the next phase of their careers as well as opened the door to the national team.

Juma who is currently attached to Moroccan side Difaa El Jadida joined South African side Cape Town City after leaving Sharks while Kapaito left for Ethiopian outfit Arba Minch.

I urge him not to be complacent going by the fact that he has reached ten goals. He has to work hard for his own benefit and that of the team. I encourage him to try and attack the records set by Masud and Kapaito. I am happy with what he has achieved so far so are the rest of the players who have made him record the numbers he has,” he said.

Muluya who acquired the forward from National Super League side APS Bomet as a replacement to Kapaito said the forward would have bagged more goals as of now were it not for injuries and loss of form in the first leg.

He however remained optimistic that his goal scoring instincts will not fade in the remainder of the season.
