The fixtures had originally been slated for last weekend but were pushed forward to accommodate the Mozzart Bet Cup quarterfinals staged over Saturday and Sunday.
Kenya Police FC vs Murang’a Seal
At Police Sacco Grounds from 2 pm, Kenya Police FC welcome Murang’a Seal in a revenge mission after falling 1-0 in the reverse fixture. Police come into the tie in blistering form, unbeaten in seven matches across all competitions and rock-solid at the back, conceding just once in that run.
Murang’a Seal, by contrast, are enduring a difficult spell. They are winless in their last seven outings, and the vibrant, attacking football that defined much of their season has waned.
A recent change in the dugout that saw Osborne Monday make way for Dennis Odhiambo has yet to inspire a turnaround, with Odhiambo losing both games since taking charge.
Nairobi United vs Tusker FC
At Ulinzi Sports Complex from 4 pm, Nairobi United lock horns with Tusker FC in a clash of contrasting ambitions. Nairobi United will be looking to bounce back after their Mozzart Bet Cup quarterfinal exit, where they narrowly lost 1-0 to KCB FC in a tightly contested encounter.
Focus now shifts back to the league, where they are chasing a second win over Tusker this season after claiming the first leg.
Before the cup disappointment, Nairobi United had been in excellent league form, winning four of their last five matches and drawing the other. They will be keen to respond immediately and maintain momentum in the closing stages of the season.
Tusker, meanwhile, have struggled for rhythm in the league, losing three of their last five matches. However, the Brewers will draw confidence from their dramatic late win over Ulinzi Stars in the cup quarterfinals as they seek to get their league campaign back on track.
United head coach Godfrey Odour admitted his side paid the price for profligacy in front of goal against KCB but remains confident of a strong finish.
He noted that failure to convert chances cost them, while assuring that the technical bench will continue working to sharpen the squad. With the title race now beyond reach, Odour has shifted focus to ensuring the team ends the season on a high note.
Elsewhere, Bandari FC hosts Posta Rangers in Kwale from 2 pm, while in Kericho at the same time, APS Bomet face KCB FC in another key fixture.
