Oluoch made himself a name in the annulled 2021-2022 season after hitting double digits at Kariobangi Sharks.
Posta Rangers striker Felix Oluoch has admitted to being under pressure to score his first goal for the club.
Oluoch joined Rangers before the current season began from Bandari but he is yet to find the back of the net eleven rounds into the campaign.
The barren run in front of the goal has been giving the forward sleepless nights as his efforts to repay coach John Kamau the faith he has invested in him with goals are yet to bear the intended fruits.
The left-footed striker has made a number of starts and second-half appearances in the eleven matches played this season, his second at the club but goals have been evading him.
“I am trying my best to regain my form. Honestly, I am under pressure to score my first goal for the club. The good is the coach has been patient and keeps on challenging me to work for it but deep down, I badly want my first goal,” conceded the player who can also play on the flanks.
Oluoch made himself a name in the annulled 2021-2022 season after hitting double digits at Kariobangi Sharks.
To relieve the pressure of scoring and replicating the form he had two years ago, Oluoch revealed that he was not resting on his laurels during the FIFA international break.
He said he was polishing the art of scoring, positioning, and any other skill required of a goal poacher so as to find the back of the net next weekend.
“I am training hard for it. I am sure I will not struggle after the break,” said the former APS Bomet player.
Rangers who sit at the summit of the log with 22 points are scheduled to play returnees Shabana next weekend.
Shabana registered their second win of the campaign after beating Nzoia Sugar 2-1 in round eleven.
