Still, the price tag Marseille have put on the Manchester United academy graduate is anything but low

Paulo Dybala's stint with AS Roma is slowly but surely coming to an end. After four years at Stadio Olimpico, the Argentinian is preparing for a likely move back to his homeland, as Boca Juniors are the favourites for his signature.

La Joya's departure will undoubtedly leave a huge gap in Gian Piero Gasperini's squad, one that needs to be filled as soon as possible. Therefore, the Giallorossi did not waste any time, having already identified a perfect replacement for Dybala - Mason Greenwood.

The Manchester United academy product has completely revived his career at Olympique Marseille, leaving both on-pitch struggles and private problems behind. Last season, he had a "double-double" record of 26 goals and 11 assists in 45 games, being the most influential player of the Ligue 1 side.

That's why L'OM won't easily give up on him, setting his price at €55 million. Still, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, Roma are willing to make a move despite the lavish demands of the French.

Fenerbahce have reportedly also entered the race for Greenwood's signature, though the ace up the Romans' sleeve could be their secured Champions League place, while the Turks will have to go through two qualifying rounds to reach the elite competition.

It remains to be seen how the situation will develop in the coming weeks, though the 24-year-old forward's stay at Stade Velodrome does not seem likely at the moment.
