In Belgium, Johanna Omolo was on the losing end
Richard Odada continued the good start to life in the Danish second tier as he helped his side AaB pick another win and continue their stay at the summit of the standings.
Odada enjoyed more minutes in his second appearance for the side since making the move from MLS side Philadelphia Union as they picked a convincing 3-0 win over Hillerød to keep the top spot.
The Kenyan made his league debut in the 2-0 win over Hobro in midweek where he featured for just 10 minutes, but this time he clocked 26 minutes after coming on in the 64th minute for Malthe Højholt.
AaB were put to the test with 18 minutes left to play when Pedro Ferreira was given his marching orders but they further went on to score two more goals to seal the victory.
Oliver Ross opened the scoring 23 minutes in the game with Nicklas Helenius and Melker Widell netting the other goals in the dying minutes of the game to see AaB win 3-0.
Okumu benched in France
In France, another Kenyan international Joseph Okumu watched proceedings from the bench as Stade de Reims picked a comfortable 3-1 win over Montpellier to move to third on the log.
After featuring during the 2-1 loss to Marseille in the opening weekend, Okumu was out of the squad for the win over Clermont last weekend and could only have a place on the bench on Sunday afternoon.
Johanna Omollo features in Belgium
Elsewhere, in Belgium, Johanna Omolo featured the whole length of the match as KV Oostende lost 2-0 to Liege on the road in the second tier.
Out of the three games that Oostende have played this season, Omolo has clocked full minutes in two, getting withdrawn in the other to accumulate a total of 245 minutes.
