Harambee Stars defender Daniel Anyembe played 90 minutes as Viborg drew 3-3 with Midtjylland in an entertaining Danish league encounter on the road.
Anyembe started at the heart of defence as his club scored two late goals to earn a share of the spoils on Monday night.
Asker Beck put Viborg ahead in the 33rd minute, a lead that lasted just three minutes before Dario Osorio drew the home team level.
Beck then completed his brace in the 45th minute, but a minute later, Pedro Bravo equalised to ensure the game went into the break with the scores level.
The second half was largely tightly contested, with the first goal coming in the 80th minute through Martin Erlic.
However, just as Midtjylland thought they had secured all three points, Dorian Hanza earned Viborg a point a minute from time.
Viborg hosts Sonderjyske in their next league match on Sunday.
In Sweden, Harambee Stars prospect Xavier Odhiambo was introduced in the 62nd minute as Landskrona threw away a two-goal lead, settling for a 2-2 draw against Oster.
The home team had raced into a two-goal lead inside the first nine minutes, but Oster responded to earn a point.
Odhiambo replaced Enes Hebibovic in the 61st minute.
In Morocco, Johnstone Omurwa started for Kawkab Marrakech as they beat Dcheira 2-1 in a league match played late last night.
Omurwa was booked in the 25th minute, and the club opted not to take risks, taking him off at halftime as they went on to score the winner 15 minutes from time.
In Ireland, Wilson Waweru was an unused substitute as his club Cobh Ramblers suffered a 2-1 home loss to UC Dublin.
