Bajaber was expected to be a key figure for Harambee Stars in the ongoing 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), but pulled out of the squad following a niggly injury.
The former Nairobi City Stars man was expected to make the move after CHAN, but completed the deal on Saturday, 2 August, after he was ruled out of the group stage matches due to injury.
Bajaber has since joined his new club, recovered from injury and not only played but also scored in their friendly match against Egyptian club Kahraba Ismailia, which Simba won 2-0.

Speaking to the club's media after the match, Bajaber welcomed the goal but highlighted an even higher satisfaction.
“For me, the most important thing is not even the goal, as I said, pre-season is all about getting minutes and preparation. For the goal, I found myself in the right place at the right moment,” said Bajaber.
The former Kenya Police FC midfielder acknowledged the demands of training, especially returning from injury, but is hopeful of finding his pace.
“It has been good. It is good to get those minutes. The most important thing in pre-season is getting those minutes.
The training has been intense, but I feel like I will get used to it soon,” he added.
Bajaber had a stellar 2024/25 season that saw him rise from fold to fold. He started the season and played the first leg of the FKF Premier League with Nairobi City Stars, who were fighting relegation.
In the mid-season transfer window, he made a switch to Kenya Police FC, where he eventually won the league as City Stars got relegated.
Additionally, it is the season where the 22-year-old made his Harambee Stars debut, where he scored a banger away to The Gambia on 20 March.
