The 31-year-old collected a fine lobbed pass in space from Yazan Al Naimat to expertly finish past Shehab Ellethy.
Reacting to the goal on X, Olunga retweeted saying: “Back to back. My team.”

Olunga’s goal came just three minutes after Naimat had himself given Al Arabi the lead, using all his trickery and skill to receive a pass from Spanish forward Rodri, before wriggling his way inside the box to squeeze in a low shot.

The goal for Olunga was his third in as many games, following his 76th minute strike earlier this week, when he came off the bench in Al Arabi’s 6-1 rout of Lusail in the fourth round of the Qatari Stars Cup.
The game, which followed up his other goal-scoring appearance against Al Sadd on Saturday, 25 October, also saw him achieve a major feat, as he captained the side, moments after club skipper Yousef Muftah was taken off.
On Friday, Olunga ended up playing for 94 minutes, before being substituted in stoppage time with former Leganes midfielder Javi Hernandez.
The three points took Al Arabi’s season tally to 10 points, and they remain eighth on the log after eight matches.
