The Western Stima midfielder has bloomed since making switch from Gor Mahia

Western Stima attacking midfielder Richdonald Bolo has revealed that three top flight clubs have expressed interests in securing his signature in the next transfer window.

Bolo joined the powermen in February on a one-year deal after failing to beat the competition in the congested Gor Mahia midfield.

Hardly four months after putting pen on paper, the national U20 midfielder could be on the move again thanks to the offers lying on his table ahead of the summer transfer.

Bolo who remained tight lipped on the identity of the three chasing clubs however claimed that their bids will not distract him from helping the Kisumu based club from beating relegation.

Three top flight clubs have knocked my door and enquired over my availability. It will be disrespectful to disclose their identity considering that I have a running contract with Stima. It is normal in football for players to be approached by suitors but they will steal my concentration and focus to help the team retain its place in the league,” he disclosed.

Bolo joined the Gor senior team in 2019 after impressing in the junior one but regrettably left without making his debut at the competitive level.

However, the midfielder who considers former Manchester United winger Luis Nani as his role model says joining Stima has given him the platform to resuscitate his confidence which was shattered for the year he was attached to the Gor senior team.

Stima have given me the chance to ply my trade in the senior league a privilege I did not enjoy at Gor thanks to the competition in the midfield. Switching to Stima has given me the platform to play regularly and develop my talent,” he noted

Meanwhile, Bolo harbors sky-high expectations of following the footsteps of the few attacking midfielders who ditched the FKF PL for the lucrative European leagues. Additionally, the player has his eyes trained on nailing a place in the Emerging Stars team set to participate in the CECAFA U23 tournament in Ethiopia next month.

With the right coaching, I believe I will play in Europe soon. In the meantime, I am looking forward to be summoned to the U23 team ahead of the regional tournament,” he added.
