In a club announcement on Friday, 23 January, The Brewers confirmed that the 29-year-old had joined the team on a year-long deal.
Etyang joins Tusker after leaving KCB following the expiry of his contract.
A product of Kakamega High School, the experienced winger is labeled as one who will strengthen the team's attacking options ahead of a demanding second half of the season.

Speaking to the club media, the former Kakamega Homeboyz player said: "I am delighted to join Tusker FC because it is a club of high pedigree, and one that fights for titles every season. Personally, this is a step up and an opportunity to challenge myself in a demanding environment."
Internally, Etyang is viewed as a replacement for Curtis Wekesa, who in December left the club for National Police Service recruitment.
“Stephen is a player with huge experience in the league and exactly the kind we need at this stage of the season,” Tusker head coach Charles Okere said of his new acquisition.
"We have been working hard to improve our attacking play, and his quality, experience, and understanding of the league will be very important for us in the second leg. He has trained well with the squad this week and is integrating nicely. I have no doubt he will be a crucial addition to the team.”

Tusker have this season struggled to put the ball in the back of the net, having scored 14 goals in 17 matches.
Out of the teams in the top half, Okere's side has the second-worst goal tally, just one above defending Kenya Police FC, who have a game in hand.
Etyang, who said he already felt at home at Tusker, hopes to be part of the solution.
“My target is to score goals and provide assists to help the team climb the standings," the former Nzoia Sugar and Ulinzi Stars man said.
"I know it is a difficult moment, but these are the situations where you truly test yourself as a player. If you can step up and help the team during such times, it shows character, and I am ready for the challenge ahead."
