The Milanese club struggled against Pisa for a long time, until the Argentine stepped up and with two goals led his team to a 2–0 victory
Pisa’s fairytale lasted nearly two months. They went six matches without losing, though in that period they managed to win only once. Then Inter arrived at the Garibaldi Arena and, with just two strikes, tore through the newcomer’s Serie A defense like the Leaning Tower in the city center — 2–0.

In the third part of the Superman film franchise, the famous superhero, in one moment of confusion, straightens the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and later, when everything clears up, tilts it back again. That’s how Lautaro Martinez toyed with the defense of the Blues today.
The defenders were like immovable objects, and the Argentinian shaped them as he pleased. Of course, Lautaro is not Superman. He didn’t do it all alone. He needed help, someone to “feed” him the ball in the right place at the right time. He got that from Esposito and Barella. After two defeats — against Milan in the city derby and Atetico in the Champions League — the Nerazzurri returned to the winning path, and that was the headline for them today.

Pisa had a six-match unbeaten streak and held a point for a good hour. What might have been if Enzola had converted Pisa’s best chance in the 63rd minute: he stormed from the center toward goal and shot just past the post.
After that, Inter coach Cristian Chivu made his substitutions, bringing on three players at once — and it paid off. Francesco Esposito, almost from his first touch, set up the opening goal: he played a return pass from the left flank into the box, where Lautaro ran in and fired the ball under the crossbar. The goal is HERE!

Everything changed after that: Pisa shaken at the back and almost harmless upfront, while Inter had lifted a tower-sized weight off their shoulders and could play much more freely. Less than fifteen minutes later, the lead doubled: the ball came this time from the right side, delivered by Barella, but the finisher was the same — Lautaro. The goal is HERE!
That 2–0 is a gap Pisa will struggle to close, even against weaker teams, let alone against Inter…
