The Spaniard apparently prefers a cold night in Stockport over the Champions League blockbuster in Paris
"Match of the century!"
"The best game in the Champions League history!"
"An epic clash!"
Those were only some of the reactions of football fans all around the globe after a spectacle at Parc des Princes last night, in which Paris Saint-Germain defeated Bayern Munich 5-4 in the first leg of the UCL semi-finals.
And while those who watched the clash in the French capital still rub their eyes in disbelief at what a rhapsody they had witnessed, those who, for some reason, missed the game, cannot forgive themselves.
However, believe it or not, there is someone deeply involved in football who chose third-tier football over the Champions League blockbuster. On purpose.
Even though people are generally used to him doing things his way, Pep Guardiola has once again managed to astonish everyone.

While everyone who carries football in their hearts was amazed by Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Harry Kane, Michael Olise, and others' moves at Parc des Princes, the Spaniard was spotted at Edgeley Park in Stockport, watching the League One (English third flight) clash between Stockport County and Port Vale!

Knowing the Manchester City boss, it's highly unlikely that he regrets his choice. On the contrary, he must have been fully aware of his decision and definitely had good reasons for it.
Or, to sum it up in other, much simpler words - it's just Pep doing Pep things.
