Why wasn't England's hero Jude booked last night? Because of good old mom's warning

The scorer of a match-winning brace for the Three Lions against Norway was at risk of missing the World Cup semi-final with another yellow card, so his mother, Denise, stepped in with a pep talk
Despite an underwhelming season with Real Madrid, Jude Bellingham still has what it takes to deliver at the highest level, if anyone even doubted his abilities.
Either way, he has impressed at the biggest stage, leading England to the semi-finals. With six goals so far in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, he matched Harry Kane and Gary Lineker's national team single-tournament record, while his recent performances have been nothing short of spectacular.

He became only the fifth player in World Cup history with back-to-back braces in the knockout phase, as his four goals against Mexico and Norway proved instrumental in England's run to the semi-finals.
Ahead of the clash against the Vikings, Bellingham was one of the four Three Lions players - alongside Declan Rice, Marc Guehi, and Nico O'Reilly - who were one yellow card away from suspension, which could have dealt a major blow to Thomas Tuchel's side.
Luckily, no England players were booked last night, while Jude revealed what played the biggest role in him "dodging the bullet" - his mother Denise's pep talk!
"My mum was telling me all week to watch my language, watch my tackles, watch my face, watch my emotions."

One yellow card would have ruled him out of the World Cup semifinal.

"So yeah, I think she drilled into me all week of being careful about that yellow card," the 23-year-old said via ESPN.
Under World Cup rules, all accumulated bookings are wiped ahead of the semi-finals, so Bellingham and his teammates don't have to worry about suspensions anymore.
Now, his only task is to maintain this outstanding form, because without him at his best, England's hopes of beating Argentina and reaching their first World Cup final since 1966 are slim.
