Among the most notable is assistant captain Estone Omengo, who has committed to another season with the Kakamega-based club.
Omengo, now in his seventh year with the Mozzart Bet-sponsored outfit, stands as the third-longest-serving player in the club’s history.

The experienced midfielder first arrived at Homeboyz in 2016, spending two seasons before leaving for KCB FC in 2018. He would, however, make a return in 2020, signing a two-year deal that laid the foundation for a successful second stint.
Omengo’s importance was underlined in 2023 when he played a central role in guiding Abana Beingo to their first-ever major silverware, the Mozzart Bet Cup.
He later extended his stay for two more seasons, contributing significantly to the club’s strong showing in the 2024/25 campaign, where they finished third in the league standings.
His latest extension ensures the club retains both his leadership and experience as they seek to build on recent progress.
The club has also tied down Kenya U20 midfielder Oliver Majak on a one-and-a-half-year deal. Majak, who joined Homeboyz in February 2024 during the second leg of the 2023/24 season, has risen quickly through the ranks.
Initially signed as a prospect, the young midfielder impressed under previous head coach Patrick Odhiambo, steadily working his way into the starting lineup. His decision to remain at Homeboyz comes despite reported interest from traditional giants AFC Leopards.

While securing the services of these two players provides stability, Homeboyz are also expected to reinforce their squad with fresh signings after parting ways with seven.
Among those linked with moves to the club are former Gor Mahia duo Rogers Ouma and Gedeon Bendeka, KCB FC midfielder Joshua Nyatini, Mara Sugar FC attacker Samuel Odaro, former AFC Leopards custodian Edwin Mukolwe and the 2022 FKFPL Golden Boot winner Derrick Otanga from KCB.
