Jeremy Sochan's dream scenario: He wins NBA title no matter who triumphs in the Finals

A textbook example of a win-win situation

Every final comes with tension. No matter the sport, the trophy at stake, or the level of competition, every participant is desperate to win.

However, the NBA has produced a unique example this season - the case of Jeremy Sochan, who will win the title no matter who wins in the final! How? It's simple.

The 23-year-old forward was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs in 2022 and spent three and a half seasons in Texas before being released and two days later signed by the New York Knicks last February.

Now, given that these two teams will meet in the NBA finals that start on Thursday (03.30), and that he featured for both this season, playing 28 games for the Spurs and 16 for the Knicks, he'll practically become the champion whoever triumphs!

Of course, it wouldn't feel quite the same if his current team ended up on the losing side, but still, the NBA ring will be in Sochan's hands.

And one day, when he retires, he'll have something to be proud of and know it was fully earned, despite this bizarre twist of fate.
