The Bankers have five-point buffer at the summit of the log half way into the series.

Reigning National Sevens Circuit champions KCB RFC reclaimed top spot despite a disappointing outing in the Driftwood 7s as they will seek to widen their buffer at the summit of the log.

The Bankers finished third in Mombasa following a defeat by Menengai Oilers in the semis but saved their blushes by edging Homeboyz RFC in the third place playoffs.

Menengai Oilers who finished runners up in the Driftwood leg of the National Sevens circuit levelled points with second placed Strathmore Leos who settled for a fifth place finish after beating Nondescript in the playoffs.

Mwamba who were the Driftwood champions pipped Homeboyz on the standings with Kabras Sugar who have blown hot and cold this season jumping to seventh.

KCB and Leos will renew their rivalry in Dala 7s after being pooled together while Oilers who are hitting form with every tournament placed in a tricky pool comprising Daystar University and Kabras.

In Division Two, Catholic Monks lead the standings on 44 points, level with Administration Police Warriors while Makueni are third on 39 points as Zetech Oaks ( 34 points) and Shamas (32 points) closing out the top five.
