The side have had a mixed start to the season posting two wins and an equal number of loses.
Following a mixed start to the season, Homeboyz RFC head coach Oscar Okaron is confident of making it to the Kenya Cup play offs for the first time since 2017.
The 2018 Enterprise Cup champions had initially pulled out of the Kenya Cup season as they opted to concentrate on development at the grassroots.
The club rescinded their decision to pull out of the league following extensive consultation with the club's former players which had a change of heart as they returned to the competition.
The Deejays are currently one point below the playoffs slots that is currently being occupied by KCB RFC, Kabras Sugar, Menengai Oilers and Mwamba.
Okaron exuded confidence in securing a play off slot having taken over the side at the start of the season after parting ways with Oscar Ayodi.
"Definitely, we are going to make it to the play offs despite losing our last game against Oilers. They are a good side who played in the Kenya Cup final last season.
All in all, 37-24 was not a bad score, at least we managed to score three tries though we failed to get a bonus point victory," said Okaron.
Homeboyz started the season with a bang, picking up victories over Mwamba and Strathmore Leos before running out of steam and losing to KCB and Oilers.
