KCB, Oilers and Kabras maintain unbeaten run.

Varsity side Catholic Monks recorded their maiden win of the season in spectacular fashion after edging Mwamba while Menengai Oilers, KCB and Kabras Sugar picked up routine wins.

These were the last set of fixtures for the year as the league takes a festive break before resuming in January for the last two games of the regular season.

Having suffered heavy defeats against Kabras and Blak Blad, Catholic Monks built up from their 17-all draw against Mean Machine last weekend to stun Mwamba with a hard-fought 23-24 victory.

Mwamba were huge favourites heading into the encounter after registering wins over Nakuru RFC and Blak Blad with their last encounter against Monks back in the 2014-2015 season seeing Kulabu whitewash the Varsity side 77-3.

Kenya Harlequin finally got their season up and running following a 45-20 win over Mean Machine to pick up their first win of the season and move out of the drop zone.

Defeats leaves Machine without a win this season and currently have the leakiest defence having conceded 175 points in their opening four games.

KCB RFC reigned supreme against Nakuru RFC with a 45-10 victory with KCB continuing their bonus point wins this season having collected an extra point in all their games this season.

The Bankers who have the meanest defence in the league having only shipped in 20 points this season sit at the summit of the log with 19 points.

Menengai Oilers also maintained their 100% start to the season by claiming a 37-22 victory over Homeboyz in an utterly entertaining clash staged at the Jamhuri Park.

John Okoth was the chief tormentor in the game as he grabbed a hat-trick to ensure his side journeyed back to Nakuru with maximum points.

Kabras Sugar claimed bragging rights in the Kakamega Derby with a 21-0 win over Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST), leaving MMUST without a victory.
