Simbas are in South Africa as they continue to step up their preparations for the 2023 Rugby World Cup qualifiers that are slated for early July this year.
After the spirited performance in the loss to Griffons who continue with their 100% start to the season, Odera noted that he will need to tighten the loose ends in his defense.
“We are showing great resolve and fighting spirit in all games. We came from 33-7 down at halftime to lose 66-33… great comeback. These boys don’t give up until the final whistle.”
“Our defense is still a challenge. It is not a lack of bravery or trying, but our tackle technique needs to improve. Our error rate also needs to come down as good teams punish every error,” said Odera.
