Singapore 7s will take place between 9-10 April, Vancouver 16-17 April followed by 7s World Cup qualifiers 23-24 April.
Shujaa head coach Innocent 'Namcos' Simiyu has unveiled a sixteen man squad that will be travelling for the upcoming fifth and sixth round of the 2021/2022 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series Circuit that are scheduled for Singapore and Vancouver during the team's busy month of April.
With the team set to take part in three tournaments, two on the 7s Circuit and one for the crucial 2022 Rugby Sevens World Cup, the head coach has named a number of young players with the priority given to the Africa 7s Tournament set for 23-24 April in Uganda.
"We are in a very competitive pool in Singapore and we obviously want to improve on our performances from the last outing in Spain,"
"Our key focus for this month is the World Cup qualifier. We believe that we have prepared well enough for Singapore and Vancouver and to be able to qualify for the World Cup. Our training has been on areas that have been an Achilles heel and starting from Singapore, we hope that we can start finding the consistency that we need going forward," he stated.
