Kacheran joins another Marathoner, Lawrence Cherono in the sin bin for doping in suspensions imposed by AIU this month
Kenya has been dealt another marathon blow after Philemon Kacheran Lokedi was provisionally suspended by the Athletes Integrity Unit (AIU) for the use of a prohibited substance, exogenous Testosterone.
Kacheran highlighted Kenya's marathon team to the Commonwealth Games that start next week, the others being Erick Kiptanui, Jonathan Korir, and Michael Githae as a reserve.

The 30-year-old marathon was suspended earlier this month, but AIU did not update the details on their portal until this week on Tuesday.
This year, Kacheran has participated in two marathons - the Tokyo Marathon in March which he did not finish and the NN Marathon Rotterdam in April where he finished eighth.
