She has previously participated in the global event three times but will dabble in mixed relay for the first time.
Sylvia Chesebe will be banking on her vast experience in relay when she competes at this weekend's World Relays Championships in Silesia, Poland where she is in line for a debut in the 4x400m mixed relay.

As she makes her comeback in the national team, Chesebe is in a team that also has Eglay Nalianya, Hellen Syombua, Mary Moraa, Jared Momanyi, William Ryan, Daniel Sanayek and Kevin Kiprotich.
"I am very excited to have the opportunity to represent my country once again at the relays. The previous three occasions gave me crucial learning curves. I will go to Poland much prepared than I was in 2017," Chesebe told her stable Golazo Kenya.

"I am confident we have a strong team in the mixed relay. If I can help the team improve from the bronze medal Kenya won in 2019, then I will be at peace," she added.
In 2017, the team of Momanyi, Maureen Nyatichi, Syombua and Aron Koech finished behind the United States and Canada in a time of 3:19.43 for bronze in the race. This was Kenya’s best result at the 2017 championships, following a fourth-place finish in the men’s 4x200m race in a season’s best 1:22.55.
A team of 36 athletes and eight officials depart this evening for Poland where, in addition to the chase for podium places in the seven events Kenya will be taking part in, three teams will need to manage a top-eight finish in the finals to be assured of a slot to Tokyo Games. The three are men and women’s 4x400m and the 4x400m mixed relay.
