Ingwe started the game brightly, pressing for an early breakthrough against a depleted Ulinzi side. James Kinyanjui, Tyson Otieno, and Julius Masaba all created promising opportunities but were denied by goalkeeper Timothy Odhiambo.

Ulinzi relied on counter-attacks and set pieces to challenge Ingwe’s defense, with Masita Masuta coming closest for the hosts, only for Humphrey Katasi to produce a brilliant save.

Just as the first half seemed destined to end goalless, Leopards struck in stoppage time. Samuel Semo’s cleverly delivered free kick found Tyson Otieno, who fired a low shot past the goalkeeper to give Ingwe the lead.

Early in the second half, Ulinzi responded through Paul Odhiambo, who headed home after connecting with a Telena Ochieng free kick to level the scores.

The goal injected fresh energy into the Soldiers' momentum, who launched relentless attacks, though Leopards held firm.
