Further, when asked about the possibility of joining the record league champions, the youngster revealed that he would be willing to join Gor Mahia when the time is right

AFC Leopards' highly-rated prodigy Kelly Madada disclosed his desire to play alongside the Gor Mahia trio of Rooney Onyango, Alphonse Omija, and Austine Odhiambo.

The youngster who joined Ingwe at the start of the current FKF Premier League season named the trio from arch-rivals K'Ogalo as some of the players he would love to play with should an opportunity present itself.

Interestingly, Madada and the trio were part of the Harambee Stars squad for the Mapinduzi Cup in Zanzibar, where the AFC Leopards attacking midfielder earned his maiden call-up and subsequently played his debut match for Kenya in the one-all draw with Burkina Faso.

"I would love to play with Ronny Onyango, Alphonse Omija, and Austine Odhiambo," Madada disclosed.

Further, when asked about the possibility of joining the record league champions, the youngster revealed that he would be willing to join Gor Mahia when the time is right.

"When the time is right, why not?" Madada told Azam Sports.

Madada's statement is likely to cause jittery feelings among Leopards fans arising from Austin Odhiambo's transfer saga three seasons ago.

Odhiambo faced resentment from Ingwe diehards after disclosing his desire to join Gor Mahia in 2021.

Should Madada cross over to K'Ogalo, he will become part of the growing number of players who have previously ditched Ingwe for Gor Mahia.

The list includes Clifton Miheso, Levis Opiyo, Austin Odhiambo, Demonde Selenga, and David "Deo" Odhiambo to name but a few.

Since Madada made his debut for Leopards' against Tusker FC, where he registered an impressive performance, he has since stamped his place in Ingwe's squad.

The 12-time league champions are currently placed sixth with 26 points, ten points adrift of table toppers Tusker FC, who sit at the summit of the 18-team league table with 36 points.
