FKF Premier League newbies APS Bomet earned more money in their clash against Kenya Police FC, played on Sunday at the Kericho Green Stadium.
The two sides were meeting for the first time, in the top tier, since APS Bomet's promotion to the table of men.

It was also the first time Bomet were staging a league match at Kericho, after the venue was approved in the course of the week.
The league's new boys' will play their home matches at the facility, for the remainder of the campaign, as the Bomet Stadium is undergoing renovations.
Despite losing 1-0 to Police, the home side had all reasons to smile to the bank after the final time whistle.
According to the club, a total of Kshs170,900 in revenue was collected from the sale of match-day tickets

The amount marked an increase of Kshs46,450 from the Kshs124,450 that the club collected in their first home match of the season against Murang'a Seal, which was played at the Gusii Stadium.
The match also marked the return of Kenyan top-flight football to Kericho Green Stadium since 2020, when it was famous for hosting former FKFPL side Zoo FC.
With the facility and fans in the region known for filling the stadium, APS might just find a safe haven and even more improved ticket revenue collection at the facility.
The match saw Police reduced to 10 men in the ninth minute of the second half as Harambee Stars midfielder Marvin Nabwire was shown a red card.
