Big Rom, big trouble for Roma: Nine-men Giallorossi draw as Lukaku scores and gets sent off

It was a tense battle against Fiorentina at Olimpico Stadium, and it ends 1-1
It never gets dull with Mou's Roma, does it?
The Giallorossi provided us with another nervous rack, this time on Sunday night against Fiorentina. Romelu Lukaku gave his team an early lead, but after two red cards in the second half (for Nicola Zalewski and for Lukaku himself), the nine-men Roma gave up a point to the Viola, 1-1.
It took Jose Mourinho's slot a little less than five minutes to break the deadlock, as Paulo Dybala's cross found Lukaku for his trademark header.
However, Roma lost Dybala before the 30-minute mark due to a nasty injury. Things got even worse for Roma when Zalewski was booked for the second time for going in late on Kayode near the touchline.
Moments later, Fiorentina managed to punish the ten-men opponents, thanks to Lucas Martinez-Quarta's lovely header. The same player almost got a second with his towering header on a Biraghi corner, but Rui Patricio beat it away.
Roma down to 9 men at home, needing to hold the score to remain in the top 4.

The cameras catch Mourinho making one of his notes, which he gives to a ball boy and asks him to give it to Rui Patrício.

And then came total chaos... Lukaku was shown a straight red card for his late and reckless tackle on Kouame. Mourinho reacted on the touchline with a sarcastic laugh, then sent a ball-boy with a note for Rui Patricio on how to defend in the rest of the match with two men down.
Lukaku sent off for this challenge, described as “savage” on world feed 🫣

Anyhow, it stayed 1-1, and it will be interesting to see the reactions of Mr Special One, especially considering the fact he'll surely be without Dybala and Lukaku for the next Serie A challenge.
