The match had barely started, and the packed Camp Nou was stunned, as the visitors broke the deadlock just 44 seconds into the game!
Pablo Ibanez exploited a poor reaction of Barca's defence after a corner kick and smashed it into the net, putting his team in front.
Yet, Alaves' joy lasted for only seven minutes, as the Catalans shortly responded. Alejandro Balde did a massive job on the left flank, finding Raphinha, who sent an ideal ball into the visitors' box, where Lamine Yamal put it behind Antonio Sivera's back.
34 - Barcelona have scored in each of their last 34 matches in @LaLigaEN (90 goals), their best scoring streak in the competition since February 2019, under Ernesto Valverde (37 matches, 99 goals).

In the 24th minute, Barca's well-known offside trap failed, as Jonny Otto found himself in a colossal chance, but Joan Garcia came to the rescue, making a superb save.
Alaves got a corner kick, which Hansi Flick's men defended, a quick counter over Raphinha followed, and it was finished with another goal - this time Dani Olmo's, while the Brazilian completed a brace of assists.
Each side wasted one chance until the break - Yamal hit the post, and Alaves' Lucas Boye narrowly missed the target - but Barca kept the advantage.
The second half was as interesting as the opening one, and brought many opportunities, but only one goal.
Robert Lewandowski, Yamal, and Jules Kounde missed chances one after another, while the visitors wasted their best shot to level inside the final ten minutes when Garcia stopped Jon Guridi one-on-one.
The punishment came in the third minute of added time when Olmo crowned a counterattack and Yamal's assist with a goal, completing a brace.
