Thiago Motta's side triumph on Sunday night (2-1), with all three goals coming before the half-time break
Juventus have finally ended their four-game-long winless streak in the Seria A by beating the bottom side Monza 2-1 at their ground. The Bianconeri celebrated a victory thanks to two first-half goals against Alessandro Nesta's team, which is already the most serious contender for relegation with just ten points after 17 games.
It needs to be said that Juve were far from perfect, struggling to create chances against the underdogs. Thankfully, Thiago Motta's team managed to bag those two before the break.

Weston McKennie opened the scoring around the 15th-minute mark, as he was left unmarked inside the six-yard box following a corner from the right. It was just impossible for him to miss it from there, and the favourites were 1-0 up.
The hosts managed to grab the equalizer shortly through Samuele Birindelli - interestingly the son of ex-Juve player Alessandro Birindelli.
The stalemate didn't last for long, though, with Nico Gonzales putting the visitors in front again, 2-1.

Although we expected to see much more goals in the second half, what followed was a dull period that didn't provide us with much of an action on both ends. Juventus settled with this hard-fought win that will take them to sixth place, nine points below the league leaders Atalanta.
