APS Bomet face Nairobi United, Posta Rangers take on Kakamega Homeboyz, KCB tussles Mara Sugar, as Bandari squares it out with Bidco United.

Ahead of today's games, Kenyan giants Gor Mahia are still at the summit of the league table with 56 points, followed by their arch-rivals AFC Leopards with 49 points, as Police FC close the top three with 40 points to their name.

At the bottom of the log lies Sofapaka with 15 points with the other relegation slots occupied by APS Bomet and Bidco United with 21 and 22 points respectively.

With the top four teams inactive today, focus will shift to the highly charged battle against relegation which will see a beehive of activities.

Posta Rangers vs Kakamega Homeboyz

With the top four teams inactive today, Kakamega Homeboyz is the highest ranking team that will play today when they visit Posta Rangers at the Kasarani Annex from 1615 hrs.

The Mozzart Bet-sponsored side is currently fifth on the log with 39 points, and will therefore have an opportunity to go up to third on the table if they secure maximum points.

The Kakamega-based outfit has had average results in recent times having won half of their last 10 matches and two of their last five.

However, they will be seeking a return to winning ways after losing to Tusker FC, before being held to a draw by Bandari in their last two matches.

Homeboyz face a Posta side that managed to bounce back from an 11-match winless streak to cruise to two comfortable wins against Police and Kariobangi Sharks respectively, and will be looking to avenge the 2-0 defeat against Homeboyz in the first leg.

APS Bomet vs Nairobi United

At the Gusii Stadium Mozzart Bet-powered APS Bomet will take on Mozzart Bet Cup defending champions Nairobi United from 1400 hrs.

APS head into the match on a poor run of form, having won just one of their last 14 league matches, and are currently on a six-match winless streak that includes three defeats and three draws.

Coincidentally, APS’ last win in the league came in their first leg fixture against today's opponents on 4 February at Nyayo Stadium, where Antony Naibei and Dickson Mwangi found the back of the net, as Muhadjiri Hakitimana scored a consolation for Naibois.

Sitting 17th on the log, the Sammy 'Pamzo' Omollo-coached side will be keen to take full home advantage in order to secure a win that would complete a double over Naibois and boost their survival chances.

Naibois, on the other hand, have been posting mixed results in the league this season including in the last six matches where they have won two, drawn two and lost their last two ties against AFC Leopards and Ulinzi Stars respectively.

KCB FC vs Mara Sugar

KCB FC will welcome Mara Sugar at the Nyayo National Stadium from 1500 hrs in the other match that will be staged in the capital.

The Bankers have not had a good season so far, and find themselves ninth on the league table with 34 points.

The Robert Matano-led side has tasted victory just once in their last six outings, and are currently on a three-match winless run that includes a 2-1 defeat to Police in their last match.

They face an equally struggling Mara side that has won just two of their past twelve matches but draw confidence from the fact that the two wins came in their last five matches.

KCB will be encouraged by the fact that they have never lost to Mara Sugar in the three times they have met while The Sugar Millers will be seeking for a maiden win that would help them climb the table from their current 12th position.

Bandari vs Bidco United

With the KPA Sports Club still under maintenance, coastal side Bandari FC will host Bidco United at the Kwale Stadium from 1400 hrs.

The Dockers are eighth on the log and have been struggling for form having won just one of their past seven matches despite having a great start under coach Bernard Mwalala.

Bidco on the other hand are in the relegation zone and will give all their energy to their survival quest despite a poor run that has seen them taste victory just once in their past 20 league games.
