Former AFC Leopards skipper Peter Thiong'o believes that limiting supply from the flanks will give Homeboyz an advantage versus Ingwe.

Thiong'o, who returned to the 2023 Mozzart Bet champions at the start of the 2024-25 season, spent three seasons with Ingwe before moving to Posta Rangers last season.
"Philosophy counts; throughout my time with Ingwe in the early seasons, I was under Trucha. We take on them coincidentally just as he leaves. Having been with them, we must be mindful of their devastating flank attacks, which are their strength.
"Cutting off their supply will undoubtedly work in our favour and be the only way to outdo them," Thiong'o revealed.
The former Post Rangers player goes on to add he had a fantastic time with the erstwhile league heavyweights.
He admits they expect a difficult match, but insists winning will be the only result for Homeboyz.
"I had a good time at Leopards for the three seasons, and facing them again this time with the side I had played for before will be an interesting clash; however, we are here for business and definitely going for victory," he continued.
The speedy winger, come right back reiterates that Homeboyz will be looking to win consecutive games for the first time since the season began in August.
Despite winning three games, they have done so in stages, with their most recent victory coming against Shabana FC.
Their other wins have come against Nairobi City Stars and Murang'a Seal and, coincidentally, 2-0 victories.
"We have not won consecutive games since the beginning of the season. Saturday's game provides an excellent opportunity to win in a row for the first time this season," he said.
The match is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. at Mumias Sports Complex and will be broadcast live on Azam Sports.
