His well-established chemistry with his teammates also makes him a highly anticipated, ready-to-deliver addition for Tatung in the second half of the season,” the club posted.
The move comes just a month after the 25-year-old winger departed APS Bomet, where he had featured at the start of the ongoing 2025/26 FKF Premier League season.
Known for his ankle-breaking dribbling skills and pace, Wanyama has consistently sought opportunities to develop his career both domestically and abroad.
Wanyama began his football journey at Nkoroi FC shortly after completing his studies at Highway Secondary School before progressing through the South B United Sports Academy (SUSA) and later the senior side South B United during the 2018–19 season.
His breakthrough came in the 2019 Chapa Dimba na Safaricom Nairobi Regional Finals, where he was named Most Valuable Player (MVP).
In 2021, Wanyama’s career reached a new level when he joined FKF Premier League side Kariobangi Sharks, winners of the 2019 Mozzart Bet Cup.
At Sharks, he established himself as a regular starter, eventually earning his first professional international contract with Leopard Cat FC in Taiwan in 2023.
After a season abroad, he returned to Kenya to join Gor Mahia in the 2023/24 mid-season window, contributing to the record league champions’ title-winning campaign.
Limited playing time during Gor Mahia’s rare trophyless 2024/25 season prompted Wanyama to seek new opportunities, leading to his brief stint with APS Bomet before the current move to Asia.
With Tatung FC, Wanyama now embarks on the next chapter of his international career, bringing experience and attacking flair to a club eager to make an impact in the second half of the season as they seek to mount a serious surge for the league title as they currently sit fifth on the log standings on 15 points ,ten adrift of leaders Fu Jen University
