Haaland revealed the reasons for heated argument with Italy's defender
Erling Haaland is the top scorer in the European qualifying campaign with an incredible 14 goals in seven games, and he added two more in a fantastic 4-1 win over Italy last night. The Italians not only lost at home for the first time in 40 years, but they also got some embarrassing moments during the game, at least after Haaland‘s version after the match. The Norway‘s hero spoke about an awkward moment during the game when he was lined up against Roma‘s Gianluca Mancini.
At one point during the game, the two men were in heated discussion and Haaland had to be held by his Manchester City teammate and Italian captain Gigio Donnarumma. The Norwegian striker certainly came out of this alteration fired up as he scored a brace afterwards and got his team into the World Cup. After the match, he explained what happened.
“At 1-1 he started to touch my ass, and I thought, "What are you doing?" Then I got a little fired up and said to him, "Thank you so much for the motivation, let's fucking have it." said Haaland.

Gianluca Mancini is well known for using all possible distractions during every Roma game in order to deconcentrate the opponent. But in case of Haaland not only did it now work, but even produced a contra reaction and got the striker even more motivated. The Italians had faith in Mancini before the game as former team‘s legend Leonardo Bonucci revealed that Roma defender will be in charge of Manchester‘s striker.
