Rumors of Francis Kahata leaving Simba SC have been rife as Joash Onyango missed his third consecutive game.
Kenyan international Joash Onyango missed the Simba SC matchday squad for the third consecutive game in the 3-0 thumping of Ruvu Shooting in the Tanzanian Premier League clash on Thursday.
Onyango picked up an injury in the 3-0 win over Kaizer Chiefs in the CAF Champions League quarter-final after a clash of heads with teammate and Ugandan international Taddeo Lwanga.
The duo resumed training on Tuesday 25 May with the Simba team doctor Yassin Gembe noting that they would be under surveillance of club doctors to avert possible danger.
“Onyango and Taddeo have resumed training with the rest of the squad today, they are in good shape with their health continuing to improve but we continue to put them under supervision of the doctors to avoid further injuries,” said Gembe.

According to various reports emanating from Tanzania, Simba SC and Francis Kahata have agreed to mutually part ways when his contract expires in July.
Kahata has been on the periphery as he was not registered for league action and was handed limited game time in the CAF Champions League.
John Bocco who has been on a hot streak of form needed only needed 17 minutes to open the scoring as he tapped in a cross from Luis Miquissone.
Simba came back strong in the second half as former Yanga SC midfielder Bernard Morrison fed Chris Mugalu to slot the ball home in the 61st minute.
Ruvu Shooting custodian Abdalla Rashid was handed his marching orders after bringing down Bernard Morrison who was through on goal.
Bocco stepped up to take the penalty and held his nerve before scoring the third for Simba to open up a six-point gap between them and eternal rivals Yanga SC.
