Duncan Ochieng rejoined AFC Leopards in November last year but moved to Lusaka Dynamos days later

Duncan Otieno and Michael Kibwage have followed in the footsteps of Clifton Miheso and joined Kenyan Footballers Welfare Association's (Kefwa) non-contracted players' football training programme at Two Rivers, raising questions on whether that is a come-get-us plea from the duo to local top-tier clubs.

This comes amidst reports that AFC Leopards are interested in resigning Otieno for a fourth stint with the club, together with Miheso and John Mark Makwatta who are also free agents.

Otieno recently terminated his contract with Lusaka Dynamos, ending a ten-month association with the club and is currently a free agent.

The decision of the former Nkana FC player may as well be looked at from a perspective of getting ready for a reunion with Ingwe, an attempt to get fully fit before joining the team with fixtures set to come in thick and fast after the international break.

Miheso was part of the 12 players that were present on the first day, with Kibwage and the former AFC Leopards midfielder joining later.

The team, made up of footballers who are not contracted to any club is training with sights on friendly matches to keep players fit as they await to land deals with clubs of their choice.

Kibwage, on the other hand, has been in a lengthy tussle with Sofapaka, with the club coming up with outrageous demands in exchange for his release letter.

The players are under the tutelage of an experienced technical bench consisting of former players David Omengo, Wycliffe Opondo, and Osborne Monday who are using the opportunity to foster their growth and transition into coaching.

Monday was part of the 60 players who undertook CAF C coaching course in July this year.
