The match was Mohammed's first competitive appearance since the Mozzart Bet Cup final victory against Gor Mahia on Sunday, 29 June, after which he was on the sidelines with an injury.
Speaking to the press after their clash with Posta, Muyoti opened up on the reason behind the change.
“Ernest (Mohammed) is one of our key players but was away for a couple of months due to injury, a time in which Kevin Oduor did a fantastic job in goalkeeping.
However, we have been conceding goals of late, which makes it easier to try out another goalkeeper, and I am glad that Ernest played a big part in the build-up to our goal,” said Muyoti.
Despite their winless run extending to five games, three of which come in the FKF Premier League, Muyoti found an important positive in their stalemate with the Mailmen.
“The league is a marathon, and therefore every point counts, especially when you are having a bad run. For the match, I am very happy that at least we have scored a goal in five games, which is very positive for us.
Having gone for four matches without a goal, our strikers were low on confidence, and so I believe this goal will be the first of many that will follow suit,” he added.
The former Nairobi City Stars head coach has been under pressure due to the club's poor run of form, but insisted that he is focused on guiding the team back to winning ways, noting that pressure is part and parcel of the coaching job.
Next up for Naibois is a clash against an on-form Tusker FC on Wednesday, 17 December at St. Sebastian Park, Murang'a, from 1600 hrs.
